ARTWORKS
A series of artworks as a result of Ink Movement workshops, displaying the intuitive exploration of form and space through the contemplative observation of body movement. The works had been made between 2019 and 2022, and are based on poetic conversations, contemplations of space and inner rhythm, combining them with fine strokes of ink and color.
Words are those ‘playful’ instruments that, through their simple utterance, give shape to seemingly infinite combinations of ideas, emotions, sensations that appear in our proximity, in our inner or outer space, through dialogues and human interactions or in moments of deep solitude and contemplation. An almost forgotten anachronistic tool, handwriting preserves the nostalgia of a ‘mechanical’ age pushed into the past by the digital and virtual present).
